Originally based in Helensville, North West Auckland, Natural Insulation Ltd. (trading as Superfill) was formed in 1980 to manufacture and install cellulose insulation.
It was one of the first companies to introduce cellulose insulation into New Zealand, servicing the area south of the Waikato through a franchise network.
In 2008, Tony and Linda Wood purchased the then run-down company and moved the plant to Takanini, rebranding the product, rebuilding a license network and modernising the plant and equipment.
A year later, Grant Thomas joined Tony as joint owner and Managing Director. |

In June 2009, Natural Insulation became an approved provider on the
Warm-up New Zealand: Heat Smart Programme. The company expanded its product base to include other
insulation and clean heating products.
