Natural Insulation is an approved provider in the
Warm Up New Zealand: Heat Smart Programme, an initiative managed by the
Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA).
This programme means home owners can get ENERGYWISE™ funding to help insulate their houses and install clean and efficient heating. The funding for
insulation covers ceiling and underfloor insulation, moisture barriers, hot water cylinder wraps, pipe lagging on hot water pipes and draught excluders on external doors.
The funding for
clean heating covers the installation of any of the following in a primary living area: An energy star rated heat pump, an approved solid fuel wood burner, an approved solid fuel pellet burner, a flued gas heater.
Do I qualify for insulation funding?
Homeowners with houses built before 2000 are eligible (with a few exceptions).
What are the details of the funding?
Eligible home owners can apply for a one-off grant of 33% off the cost of ceiling and underfloor insulation up to a maximum of $1,300 (incl. GST). If the necessary ceiling and underfloor insulation has been installed, you may be eligible for a further subsidy of $500 towards clean-heating products.
